You will be picked from Nairobi or flown in to Lewa Conservancy. Check in at Lewa Wilderness Trails and take in the serene environment. Lunch will be at this marvelous cottage tucked away in the hills of Lewa Eastern Valley and later on you can for guided walks to familiarize yourself with the area. Overnight at Lewa Wilderness. You will have a beautiful day to go for exclusive game drives and having the advantage of being located in the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy you are surrounded by rich game viewing opportunities without the crowds. There is a very good chance of seeing all of the “Big Five” and Lewa is one of the only game parks where visitors are almost guaranteed to see the endangered black and white rhinos while on safari. With the backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kenya and the diversity of scenery from open plains, rolling hills, valleys, escarpments and rivers, Lewa is a magical place to game drive for the ultimate Kenyan safari experience. Getting on the back of one of the Lewa Wilderness horses allows you to enjoy the wildlife in its most natural form, without the sound of a car engine or the sight of a road – it’s truly quite a breathtaking view. Beginners are not left out enabling even first time riders to enjoy this unique experience. Ride right up next to animals such as giraffe, zebra, impala, waterbuck, ostrich and baboons among others. This day is totally yours to decide on which activity you want to enjoy. You will go for guided walks accompanied by an armed guide around the conservancy and look at the world from a different perspective. In the afternoon, you will visit Ii Ngwesi cultural boma and later on, have an evening game drive. Overnight at Lewa Wilderness Trails.
After a leisurely breakfast, prepare to leave Lewa Conservancy for Nairobi. Upon arrival to Wilson airport, you will be transferred to the airport for an onward flight, or accommodation for this day can be arranged at an extra cost.
